Edgar Evans Cayce (1918-2013) was the youngest son of Edgar and Gertrude Cayce. Described as a renaissance man by those who knew him best, he excelled in both academics and sports. He was an electrical engineer for 43 years before his retirement and married for over 60 years. Extremely fit and in excellent health well past his 90th birthday, Edgar Evans attributed his wellbeing to following the healthy diet and exercise given in the Readings. Even while in his early 90s, he mowed his own yard and played volleyball three times a week. Before his death in early 2013, he was a Trustee Emeritus of the A.R.E., as well as a devoted grandfather and golfer. One of A.R.E.'s authorities on Atlantis, his book Edgar Cayce on Atlantis explores the latest discoveries in the search for Atlantis along with evidence of its destruction. He coauthored the book The Outer Limits of Edgar Cayce's Power which explores the relatively small number (200) of readings that appeared to be inaccurate.
Elaine Hruska, MA, is a therapist for the Edgar Cayce A.R.E. Health Center & Spa located in Houston, Texas. She holds her MA in transpersonal studies from Atlantic University and is considered an expert on the Edgar Cayce health readings. Elaine trained under Harold J. Reilly, who was a pioneer in the field of massage therapy and a world-renowned physiotherapist. Dr. Reilly actually began receiving recommendations and cases from Edgar Cayce in 1930, almost two years before they had met! At that time, he had never heard of Edgar Cayce and did not suspect that the referrals were coming from a medical intuitive. Dr. Reilly created the Cayce/Reilly Massage, a particular style of Swedish massage he developed from information suggested in the Cayce readings. She is the author of the best-selling Your Key to Good Health: Unlocking the Power of Your Lymphatic System and the new book Edgar Cayce's Quick & Easy Remedies which highlights the wealth of information given in the Edgar Cayce readings with a spotlight on the simplest and most commonly prescribed remedies and a Symptom-Remedy Index which allows the reader to find suggested solutions for just about any illness or disease.
