About Our Work

The Edgar Cayce A.R.E. Library stands as a living memorial to the life and work of Edgar Cayce, whose more than 14,000 psychic readings form the core of the collection. In addition to the Cayce readings, the Library houses one of the largest metaphysical collections in the world--65,000 volumes--in the fields of parapsychology, comparative religious studies, holistic health, ancient civilizations, and more. Edgar Cayce stated that soul development is not achieved through some great deed or act but is a gradual accomplishment that is attained “line upon line, precept upon precept.” The readings also suggested that group study of the A Search for God material would be helpful. A.R.E.'s Study Group Program helps people find and create study groups. Learn more.
