Hugh Lynn Cayce From the Archives

Hugh Lynn Cayce (1907-1982) was the eldest son of Edgar Cayce. He turned his father's Association for Research and Enlightenment, Inc. (A.R.E.) into an organization of international renown and developed widespread recognition and acceptance of subjects such as psychical research, dream analysis, meditation, and spiritual development, serving as chairman of the board before his death. He received critical praise for his first book, Venture Inward (recently re-released as Venturing Inward) which examined safe and unsafe methods of exploring personal psychic experiences and the unconscious mind; and for which A.R.E.'s Member magazine is named. His other books include The Outer Limits of Edgar Cayce's Power, with Edgar Evans Cayce, which explores the relatively small number (200) of Edgar Cayce’s readings that appeared to be inaccurate.
