The Weekend Pathway to Balance for Highly Sensitive People
Virginia Beach, Va. – Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) is a clinical term in psychology that refers to a personality trait wherein the central nervous system more deeply processes cognitive and sensory stimuli. Psychologists estimate roughly 1 in 5 people are HSPs. Some have said HSPs have “distinct evolutionary advantage.” This weekend (March 29-31), Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. presents The Enlightened Empath conference, offering effective strategies to help HSPs learn to maximize and balance how they use energy.
Speakers Echo Bodine, Carol Ann Liaros, Peter Woodbury, Cindy Griffith, and M.E. Hart will give you healthy mechanisms to thrive in our high-stimulus world, while fully embracing the HSPs empathic gifts of intuition, creativity, and compassion.
The conference program begins Friday with Peter Woodbury speaking to Edgar Cayce on Sensitivity, Boundaries and the Unseen Forces from 7-9 p.m. Then Saturday morning, Echo Bodine presents What Intuition Is; followed by the afternoon’s Embracing the Gift of Intuition: Self-care, Healing, and Protection. M.E. Hart concludes the Saturday program with Self-Compassion to Thrive: Self-Care Tools You Can Use. Sunday morning, Cindy Griffith presents Helping Empath Children. Carol Ann Liaros concludes the program Sunday from 2-5 p.m. with Navigating the Worlds of the Psychic and the Spiritual.
A limited number of partial scholarships may be available. Contact A.R.E. Customer Service for details. View the full weekend schedule, register and more at EdgarCayce.org/conferences. Online event registration closes March 28. Individual speaker lecture passes are also available at the door.
Edgar Cayce founded the non-profit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in 1931, to explore spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries—all subjects that frequently came up in the more than 14,000 documented psychic readings given by Cayce, who died in 1945. The mission of A.R.E. is simply to help people around the world change their lives for the better through the ideas and information found in the Cayce readings. The Virginia Beach headquarters is a popular site for locals and tourists with free daily lectures, a Health Center & Spa, the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massage, an extensive metaphysical library, a meditation garden, a stone labyrinth, and a bookstore and gift shop. Visitors from around the world come to experience conferences featuring speakers on subjects like ancient mysteries, holistic health, and spiritual development. The campus is also home to Atlantic University, which offers two masters degrees (Transpersonal Studies and Leadership Studies) through an online platform, as well as continuing education and certificate programs. Through A.R.E.’s many programs, services, publications, and membership outreach, individuals from all walks of life and religious backgrounds are provided with tools for personal transformation and healing at all levels—body, mind, and spirit.
