Nurture Your Nature in November at the A.R.E.
Virginia Beach, Va. – New evidence researched by psychologist Etzel Cardena adds additional support to the existence of psychic abilities.1 Edgar Cayce said everyone has the ability to be psychic. The bigger question about the psychic, then, may be whether or not it is a skill one chooses to develop. In November, the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) offers several opportunities for individuals to explore and strengthen their innate sixth sense.
At the organization’s Annual Psychic Development Conference, Nov. 9 - 11, learn how to hear and trust your inner voice to overcome life’s biggest challenges. Discover ways to uncover your talents and life purpose, as well as create boundaries for protection and self-care. Get the training and tools needed to tap into your intuitive talents—from some of the most experienced practicing professionals. Conference keynote presenters include Kim O’Neill, voted Houston’s #1 psychic, and Tamara Caulder Richardson, the southern belle medium. Mary Roach, MA, presents on stoking your inner mystic. As Albert Einstein said, “everything is energy;” therefore, Denise Furgason and Ellen Selover teach energy methods for psychic development. Cindy Griffith, MA, opens the event by helping attendees learn about auras, the meaning of colors, and the seven chakras. This event occurs in the Visitor Center.
For those who cannot physically attend, two of the conference sessions are offered via livestream from 7-9 p.m.: Furgason and Selover’s Energy Methods to Support Your Psychic Development happens Nov. 9; then Nov. 10, online find Roach’s Awakening Your Inner Mystic.
The public is invited for free lectures and historic building tours Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as the organization celebrates the 90th anniversary of the historic hospital building that is now the modern A.R.E. Health Center and Spa with an Open House.
If the material world feels more comfortable, beat “Black Friday” and let the seasonal shopping begin Nov. 17 at the A.R.E. Holiday Gift Bazaar and Psychic Fair. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. inside the Visitor Center, vendors and artists abound, courtesy of the A.R.E. Bookstore & Gift Shop. Find unique gifts to uplift the ones you love. Open to the public with many free activities and lectures throughout the day, browsers are welcome. Psychic readings, massage, reflexology, and aura photography available for fee. Readings begin at 9:30 and fill fast, so early sign-up is recommended.
Free Nov. 20, the public is invited to attend the Bookstore & Gift Shop’s Conscious Community Lecture Series from 10:30 a.m. to noon as Bernadette Kristaponis presents Reiki as a Conscious Life Path. Learn about the art form that is reiki, and how to apply it to activate and balance the energy within every living being.

Edgar Cayce founded the non-profit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in 1931, to explore spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries—all subjects that frequently came up in the more than 14,000 documented psychic readings given by Cayce, who died in 1945. The mission of A.R.E. is simply to create opportunities for profound personal change in body, mind, and spirit through the wisdom found in the Edgar Cayce material.. The Virginia Beach headquarters is a popular site for locals and tourists with free daily lectures, a Health Center & Spa, the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massage, an extensive metaphysical library, a meditation garden, a stone labyrinth, and a bookstore and gift shop. The campus is also home to Atlantic University which offers two masters degrees (Transpersonal Psychology and Mindful Leadership) through an online platform, as well as continuing education and certificate programs. Through A.R.E.’s many programs, services, publications, and membership outreach, individuals from all walks of life and religious backgrounds are provided with tools for personal transformation and healing at all levels.
