Virginia Beach, Va. – In honor of the month of love, the A.R.E. Bookstore & Gift Shop is holding special events surrounding the theme of love. With a Psychic Fair on Saturday, Feb. 18, a free monthly Conscious Community Lecture on Feb. 21, and a Spirit Message Circle with messages of hope and love from the other side on Feb. 23, it’s never been a better time to visit Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E.
In addition to February’s special events, the A.R.E. offers free lectures, a Cayce film, and a tour daily. Multiday events and certified training classes are also available throughout the year. Visit EdgarCayce.org/conferences to learn more.
This month’s Psychic Fair includes free activities such as educational lectures and demonstrations in addition to the paid psychic readings, chair massage, and foot reflexology plus aura photography, a crystal workshop, and unique rock/crystal vendors. The February Conscious Community Lecture series features Jennie Taylor Martin presenting Animals and the Afterlife: From Edgar Cayce to Modern Times with information and research about the important role animals play in our lives along with information about their afterlife and cases of reincarnation. Spirit Message Circles helps participants connect with loved ones on the other side; this month Nancy LaPorta offers guidance with information from loved ones, angelic presences, and spirit guides to up to 24 participants.
In addition to these special events, A.R.E. offers free activities daily including a lecture, tour, and film, weekend E.S.P. demonstrations, and even a guided mediation class on Sundays. Featuring some of the nation’s top speakers, A.R.E. Headquarters Conferences include topics that enrich and inspire. A Past-Life Regression Hypnotherapy Advanced Intensive scheduled for Feb 24 - 26, provides one-on-one training in the use of advanced regression techniques. Edgar Cayce founded the non-profit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in 1931, to explore spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries—all subjects that frequently came up in the more than 14,000 documented psychic readings given by Cayce, who died in 1945. The mission of A.R.E. is simply to help people around the world change their lives for the better through the ideas and information found in the Cayce readings. The Virginia Beach headquarters is a popular site for locals and tourists with free daily lectures, a Health Center & Spa, the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massage, an extensive metaphysical library, a meditation garden, a stone labyrinth, and a bookstore and gift shop. Visitors from around the world come to experience conferences featuring speakers on subjects like ancient mysteries, holistic health, and spiritual development. The campus is also home to Atlantic University which offers two masters degrees (Transpersonal Psychology and Leadership Studies) through an online platform, as well as continuing education and certificate programs. Through A.R.E.’s many programs, services, publications, and membership outreach, individuals from all walks of life and religious backgrounds are provided with tools for personal transformation and healing at all levels—body, mind, and spirit.
