Edgar Cayce’s GLOBAL Prayer & Meditation Day, 24-hour Video Streaming Event on December 20, 2020
Virginia Beach, Va. – Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E is excited to announce Edgar Cayce’s GLOBAL Prayer & Meditation Day, 24-hour Video Streaming Event on December 20, 2020. In an effort to create the global manifestation of Oneness, this profound free event will stream for 24 hours on our website, Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube channels. It will feature a series of guided and silent meditations, chanting and sound healing sessions, inspirational affirmations and testimonials, enlightening talks from Cayce experts, and more, from A.R.E. members and like-minded seekers from across our global community. We ask for worldwide participation and have already had thousands, from more than 33 countries, commit to joining us for this day of powerful prayer and meditation.
Now more than ever, it is important for us to come together in the manifestation of Oneness, and the Winter Solstice on December 20, 2020 offers the perfect opportunity to support these efforts. On this day, the closest astrological conjunction between the two largest planets in our solar system, Jupiter, and Saturn, will occur. The last time this occurred was in the 1600’s.
Astrologically, Saturn is associated with limitations and lessons, and Jupiter with abundance and optimism. This conjunction is incredibly powerful and influential, potentially signaling significant collective societal changes across the world. No doubt this foreshadows the possibility that 2021 will be a historically dynamic year of growth and change on a personal and global scale.
Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. has created Edgar Cayce’s Global Prayer & Meditation Day to commemorate this astrological phenomenon. Meditation and prayer were essential practices for spiritual enlightenment and soul growth according to the Edgar Cayce readings, and together we can join our energetic forces to help uplift the energies of ourselves, our communities, our nation, and our planet. Everyone is invited to join us at home, online—whether alone, or with your loved ones-- as we pray and meditate together in the spirit of Oneness.

Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) has been called the “father of holistic medicine” because of his prolific psychic readings addressing the health of the body. For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce was sought after by thousands seeking help with issues of the body, mind, or spirit. Cayce founded the non-profit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in 1931, to explore spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries—all subjects that frequently came up in the more than 14,000 documented psychic readings given by Cayce. The mission of A.R.E. is simply to help people around the world change their lives for the better through the ideas and information found in the Cayce readings. The Virginia Beach headquarters is a popular site for locals and tourists with free daily lectures, a Health Center & Spa, the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massage, an extensive metaphysical library, a meditation garden, a stone labyrinth, and a bookstore and gift shop. Visitors from around the world come to experience conferences featuring speakers on subjects like ancient mysteries, holistic health, and spiritual development. The campus is also home to Atlantic University, which offers two masters degrees (Transpersonal Studies and Leadership Studies) through an online platform, as well as continuing education and certificate programs. Through A.R.E.’s many programs, services, publications, and membership outreach, individuals from all walks of life and religious backgrounds are provided with tools for personal transformation and healing at all levels—body, mind, and spirit.
